Doug said the implementation committee would oversee a series of recommendations for the city and community, and staff are currently accepting applications at City Hall for committee membership. He also noted transit emerged as one of several recommendations in the earlier report and that the city has been discussing a proposal with Madison Metro for about a year.
Board members encouraged spreading the word about the open committee seats and suggested using strong application materials as examples for future permit applicants. No formal action or vote was taken; the item was an informational update.
