The Board of County Commissioners of Boulder County on July 1 ratified a last‑minute signature that extended a state‑funded ARPA contract so county staff can continue using grant funds for rehabilitation of a fourplex in Longmont.

Jim Adams Burger of the county's Community Services Department told commissioners the "contract snafu" required a signature so the agreement would not lapse. Adams Burger said the amendment "simply extended the contract out through June '26 to allow us to expend dollars that are set aside for the rehab of a property that was purchased through the same grant." The property is a fourplex on Emery Court in Longmont.

Commissioners moved to approve ratification, and the vote was recorded as "all in favor. Aye." No further conditions or amendments were recorded during the approval.

The extension allows county staff to continue spending the state‑funded ARPA dollars allocated to the project while the rehabilitation — which Adams Burger said "is just taking longer than expected" — continues.

Commissioners did not discuss additional funding amounts, specific contractor names, or a revised project schedule at the meeting.
