Ariel Savage was sworn in as a member of the Riverside County Planning Commission during the commission’s July 16 meeting. The oath of office was administered on the record before roll call.
The ceremony placed a newly appointed representative from District 1 on the seven-member commission. Commissioner Savage said she is a lifelong Riverside County District 1 resident and thanked Supervisor Medina for the appointment. "I'm very excited to be serving on the planning commission," Savage said.
Following the swearing-in, commissioners moved to elect a vice chair for the remainder of the year.
