The Cannon Falls Area Schools board approved the 2025–26 fall coaching list, the district's annual fundraisers and a consent resolution accepting donations from the Cannon Falls Education Foundation and local organizations.
Reid presented the fall-coaching list and highlighted two additions at the varsity/lead level: Dan Shuck as the new boys head soccer coach and Anna Broderick as the new fall musical director. Reid said the rest of the coaching slate remained "pretty consistent" with last year.
On fundraisers, Reid said the list is similar to prior years and noted the district only compiles the year's activities once annually; he suggested winter and spring could be reviewed at a later date to streamline the process. The board approved the 2025–26 fundraising list.
Under the consent agenda the board accepted donations read by a presenter: $1,912.66 from the Ed Foundation for flexible seating in special education and for Franzen's 6–12 classes; $2,239 from the Ed Foundation for flexible seating for a Spanish class; $7,644 from the Ed Foundation for 3D printers (remaining silent-auction balance); $250 from the Cannon Valley Fair for robotics; $500 from BTD for robotics; $1,000 from the Diamond Club to support 2026 baseball camp in Florida; and $50 from Anne May for FFA. The board thanked donors for the support.
Action: The fall-coaching slate, annual fundraisers and consent acceptance of the donations were approved by the board in single motions where applicable.
