The county will present a resolution to adopt a development-services fee schedule specific to manufactured, mobile and factory-built building inspections; staff said fees cover plan review and on-site inspections after installation.
Cochise County staff told supervisors July 31 they will present a resolution and an attached fee schedule for inspections of manufactured homes, mobile homes and factory-built buildings. Miss Gilman said the public hearing and a separate resolution adopting the fee schedule are on the agenda so the full schedule is available to the public.
Development services staff explained the fee applies to plan review and to inspections performed when the unit is installed: inspectors will review submitted plans, then visit the site after the unit is set on blocks, tied down and connected to utilities to verify the installation matches the plans. Staff said the proposed fees are intended to cover the county’s review and inspection effort.
The item will be presented at a public hearing where residents may comment and the board will consider adopting the fee schedule by resolution.
