The Franklin County Board of Supervisors adopted Resolution 25-38 designating the county’s elected and appointed officials as voting representatives to the Iowa State Association of Counties (ISAC).
A county staff member explained the resolution simply assigns each elected or appointed official to the appropriate ISAC affiliate. The board moved, seconded and approved the resolution in a roll-call vote: Lukensmeyer — Aye; McVicker — Aye; Van Ness — Aye.
Why it matters: ISAC voting delegates represent the county at ISAC business and votes; the resolution formalizes those designations for the association.
The resolution passed unanimously by roll-call and will be filed per county procedure.
