Typhoon Sellen was elected director of the Morris County Board of County Commissioners in a unanimous roll-call vote during the board’s January 2025 reorganization meeting, and Stephen H. Shaw was chosen as deputy director. Commissioners John Krickus, Stephen H. Shaw and Deborah Smith were sworn into three-year terms and Heather Darling was sworn in as Morris County surrogate.
