The Clay County Commission approved execution of right-of-way easements to allow installation of new power poles and underground lines at Trist Falls Park (item 2025228).

John Davis, Parks Director, summarized the request: "This is a request to Platt Clay Electric. And they did a site assessment at Trist Falls Park...They're requesting to remove this line, which is at the entrance to Trist Falls Park. That's an old line that feeds a meter and an old, street light and move it to the pole that's at the entrant." Davis said the work also will replace an older pole near the lower parking lot that is too close to a shelter house and that the county expects the easement to be reduced: "So they're actually decreasing the easement they used to have. So, basically, all this is is cleaning up paperwork."

Commissioner Johnson moved approval; the motion passed 6-0. No members of the public addressed the item at the meeting.
