Tillamook County commissioners approved a one-year professional services agreement (effective July 1, 2025–June 30, 2026) with a local dental practice to expand dental care access for Oregon Health Plan (Medicaid) recipients and uninsured patients.

Arlene Putnam, Health & Human Services administrator, said the county has contracted with the local practice for years to increase service capacity because the county clinic has only one dentist and one hygienist. Under the agreement the practice will provide dental visits on a flat-rate basis tied to the number of visits; Dr. Ahn’s practice provides roughly 100 visits per month under the arrangement.

Commissioners expressed appreciation for the continuing service and moved to approve the professional services agreement number 25/26-002. The motion passed by unanimous vote.

No changes to scope or conditions were recorded during the meeting.
