Mayor Taj called the City Council into a closed session at 6:00 p.m. Aug. 11 to consider an item described by the City Attorney as relating to the city’s sixth-cycle housing element. The council reconvened later in the meeting and the City Attorney reported there was "no reportable action" following the closed session.

The meeting opened at 6 p.m. with Mayor Taj calling for a roll call. The City Clerk recorded Council member Manalo and Mayor Pro Tem Truvino present and Council member Ramoso absent. No members of the public were signed up to speak during the public-comment period.

"At this point, item number 4 is recess to closed session. So we recess to closed session," Mayor Taj said before the council left open session. The City Attorney told the council the closed session’s subject was the city's sixth-cycle housing element; upon reconvening the City Attorney said there was no reportable action.

The meeting adjourned at 6:46 p.m.
