During the communications section, staff reported six downtown administrative approvals and flagged one project on Northwest Eighth Street where a building owner will repair and restore the upper facade.

Larg Griggs, planning department staff, said the work will restore the top of the building and replace temporary plywood and mesh that had been installed after pieces had fallen from the facade: “They're going in and they're going to be making it look like it used to look. So that is extremely exciting.” Griggs also noted the business had opened a second location in Norman on Main Street.

Staff noted there are several items scheduled for next month's agenda and that Kayla will be available. No formal votes or public-comments were recorded on these communications. The commission announced the next regular meeting date and deadlines for new and continued applications.
