State Board approves license for Kangyong Hee

The State Board of Landscape Architects Connecticut on Feb. 18 approved an application by Kangyong Hee to be licensed as a landscape architect after members said the candidate met the board's requirements for education, experience and examination.

Board members said He presented the three required elements'education, experience and exam results'and that He has worked at Sasaki for three years. The board's chair moved to accept the application; Janice seconded. Two board members recorded "Aye" during the roll call. The motion carried and the board congratulated the applicant.

Board discussion on this item was brief. One member said He's followed the board's procedures and another noted the candidate's recent employer and experience met the board's expectations. No additional conditions or requests for follow-up were recorded in the transcript.

The approval adds one more licensed landscape architect to Connecticut's roster under the board's licensing processes.
