The Charlottesville City Schools Board of Education voted to approve the Career and Technical Education (CTE) local plan for the 2025–26 school year following a brief presentation by the CTE director. The superintendent recommended board action and a motion to approve passed on a voice vote.

Dr. Hiltz (CTE presenter) reviewed that staff previously presented the local CTE plan and that the superintendent recommended taking action at this meeting. Board members moved and seconded the motion to approve; there was no extended discussion recorded and the board approved the plan by an aye vote.

The presentation noted that the plan had been reviewed at the March work session and that the vote authorizes the superintendent to proceed with the district’s local plan for career and technical education for the next school year.
