Wilmington council excuses two members, approves agenda and advances two ordinances to upcoming readings

The Wilmington City Council opened its first regular meeting of 2025 by excusing two absent members and approving the evening's agenda and the Dec. 19 meeting minutes. The council then moved through two ordinances, voting to advance them to additional readings.

A motion by Councilmember Knowles, seconded by Councilmember Tolliver, to excuse two absent members carried (vote recorded as unanimous). A motion to approve the agenda was made by Councilmember Nisten (listed in the record as Nisten/Nanstedt), seconded by Councilmember Osborne, and approved.
