Select Board approves routine items: minutes, payroll, gift and a street name

At the start of Tuesday’s meeting the Select Board approved minutes, payroll and treasury warrants and accepted several routine items.

The board voted unanimously to:

- Approve minutes and payroll/treasury warrants (motion and unanimous aye).
- Accept a $50 gift from Robert and Mary Miklos designated for the Saltmarsh Senior Center and send thanks to the donors.
- Approve a request from the Citizen Departmental Committee to name a newly created roadway Jones Way (planning and emergency services had no conflicts with the chosen name; the road had been proposed as Jones Road but was adjusted to Jones Way to avoid confusion with Paul Jones Road).

Each motion passed by unanimous vote of the members present.
