Mooresville Redevelopment Commission staff reported on the Patel site at the April 3 meeting, saying Banning Engineering has conducted inspections and identified work the contractor must address before the project advances.

Staff said inspections found a section of road adjacent to a manhole that is settled about a foot and a half and other items that will require remediation. The town’s engineer and the contractor were aware that some items would need attention and are working through the list.

There was no motion or vote on the item; staff said they expect increased contractor activity within about six weeks. No schedule or change order amounts were specified at the meeting.
