The Building & Growth Committee on April 3 recommended that the full Board approve a three-year extension to the district’s life-safety systems inspection contract with Fox Valley Fire. Administration presented the scope of required inspections and said the current contract expires May 30; the committee had no objections to forwarding the extension to the Board.

Facilities staff also offered a brief M update and said there were no other items to add at this time.

Ending: The contract extension was recommended to proceed to the full Board for approval; the presenter noted inspections are required work and not discretionary.
