The Regional Airport Board on a Tuesday in April approved a master engineering professional services agreement with Park Hill and took two procedural votes to rescind and then reapprove consumer price index (CPI) adjustments after staff identified clerical errors. The board also approved meeting minutes and its monthly financial report.

The board voted to accept Park Hill as the airport’s master engineering consultant and to authorize a written professional services agreement intended to cover projects over roughly the next five years. The airport director described the document as “a very generic document... supposed to cover everything that our airport could possibly do, within the next 5 years.” The director said the new agreement does not materially differ in wording from the board’s previous agreement with Park Hill.

Board members voted to rescind three CPI-related actions taken at the March 11 meeting after staff discovered clerical errors that changed billable amounts. The director said the March 11 item included about six CPI adjustments, three of which contained clerical mistakes. The board rescinded those three actions and then approved corrected CPI amendments (items a, b and c). The director told the board that corrected invoices will be taken to city council for approval before staff issues them to tenants and that none of the corrected CPI invoices have been sent to tenants pending council action.

The meeting also included routine approvals: minutes from the previous meeting and the monthly financial statements. Those motions were moved and seconded and carried by voice vote.
