Planning board approves annual report and will forward it to City Commission

The Planning and Zoning Board voted to accept its annual report for transmission to the City Commission and to present it at the commission meeting in June.

Planning staff said the report is factual and documents the board’s application-processing focus for the year. Board members had one substantive comment: the table at the back of the report was difficult to read in single-page form. Staff responded they would reformat the table over two pages to improve readability before the chair presents the report.

Chairwoman Gonzalez was not present at the meeting; the board approved the report with the understanding staff will work with her on any final edits prior to presentation at the June board night meeting. A motion to accept the report was made and passed by voice vote as recorded in the transcript.
