Christian J. Hein, District Manager, told the Pueblo West Metropolitan District Board the board will consider an amended contract price of $710,000 for the district administration building and will hold a tentative 30-minute executive session ahead of the regular meeting on Monday at 4:30 p.m.
Hein said the $710,000 figure is “close to where that appraisal came back” and that the amendment and a related resolution appear in the packet that will be available to the board for review. He told members the packet received by board members differs from what was initially distributed because of a connection interruption that prevented live display of the packet during the work session.
Hein said the executive session time is intended to give the board an opportunity to discuss the matter before Monday night’s meeting. If further work is needed after the executive session, Hein said the board can table the action item; if the board is prepared, it will have the opportunity to take the item up at the meeting.
No formal motion or vote on the contract was recorded in the work session, and no legal documents were signed. The item remains on the agenda for Monday night for possible action or tabling depending on the board’s review of the amendment and any issues raised in the executive session.
The work session record indicates staff intend to correct a separate packet-display issue and to make the amendment available to board members by Monday for review.
