Lisa Ulacek, Youth Services Manager, said the 2025 program centers on World War II and for the first time includes three book selections: Goodnight, Irene (adult), Salt to the Sea (teens) and Allies (youth). Kristen Zambo, promotional services manager, described a slate of events for different age groups and explained the library is running an Operation Support Our Troops donation drive. The presenters asked the community to donate items such as disposable razors, multivitamins, athletic socks and small books or activity booklets.

Key logistics announced in the meeting:
- Drop-off locations: City Hall, Batavia Public Library and Batavia Chamber of Commerce office.
- Donation window: through April 25 (presenters said donations prior to April 30 are preferred for shipping logistics; donations at the packing event will be accepted as needed).
- Care-package assembly: April 30 with two sessions, 3:00–5:00 p.m. and 5:30–8:00 p.m.
