The Director of Schools reported that TCAP testing begins this week, spring middle‑school sports tournaments are starting and high school proms and other year‑end activities are happening. The director asked staff and families to use provided testing tips and said Human Resources and district administrators are working on hiring and filling principal and assistant principal positions for the next school year.

Board members offered brief comments in response, wishing students and staff well during testing and thanking administrators and Human Resources for their work preparing for the end-of-year activities and next year’s staffing. Board members noted the tests are challenging and emphasized support for students, teachers and families as the school year finishes.
