The Rolla City Council authorized the mayor to execute a contract with Pierce Asphalt LLC for asphalt Phase 4 in the amount of $199,819.40.
Staff told council that at its prior meeting the council awarded the bid to Pierce Asphalt LLC as the low bidder and that the final reading of the ordinance authorizing contract execution was before council for adoption. There were no substantive questions, and the council approved the ordinance on final reading by roll call.
The ordinance was read as "An ordinance authorizing the mayor to execute a certain agreement between the City of Rolla, Missouri and Pierce Asphalt LLC." Staff did not identify any amendments to the contract during the meeting.
