Board appoints viewers to consider road and alley abandonment in Magnus Subdivision

Yellowstone County commissioners on July 29 approved Resolution 25-92 to appoint a board of viewers to consider the abandonment of roads and alleys in a portion of Magnus Subdivision, Second Filing.

The board of viewers named in the resolution are Commissioner Mark Morris; Jeff Martin, clerk and recorder; Laura Maddox, transportation planner; and Logan McKissick, public works project manager. The appointment was made by motion, second and voice vote; the board took no final action on abandonment at the meeting and instead initiated the statutory viewer process.

The resolution directs the appointed viewers to investigate the petition for abandonment, hold any required site inspections or hearings per county process, and report findings back to the board.
