The Greene County Board of Commissioners on July 31, 2025 approved spending not to exceed $300 from materials and supplies via credit card to fund a volunteer appreciation brunch organized by the Records & Archives office.

Records director Jen Haney Conover and outreach coordinator Mary McKinley told the board that the brunch is planned to thank volunteers and interns who have contributed digitization and accessioning work. Commissioners approved the funding unanimously.

County staff said the brunch is scheduled for the coming Saturday; the expenditure is limited to refreshments and materials.
