City approves 02/2026 Morton Salt contract at $72.53 per ton

The City Board voted to approve the 02/2026 contract with Morton Salt at $72.53 per ton, a slight increase from the prior year’s $70 per ton, a city presenter said. The board approved the contract by voice vote.
