The Board of County Commissioners' planning and zoning session on Sept. 4 approved a small-scale comprehensive plan amendment and a companion zoning change for a project identified as Cobblestone 2, RVG LLC, in District 3.
On the comprehensive plan amendment (application 25SS000006), Commissioner Atkinson moved to approve; Commissioner Delaney seconded. The clerk's roll call recorded yes votes from Commissioner Delaney, Commissioner Atkinson, Commissioner Altman and Chairman Feltner; the motion passed 4-0.
On the companion zoning application (23Z00038) the board approved changing the zoning classification to TR-3 with a Basic Development Plan (BDP). Commissioner Atkinson moved and Commissioner Delaney seconded; the clerk again recorded unanimous yes votes and the zoning change passed 4-0.
Planning staff identified the items on the agenda as companion applications requiring separate approvals for the comp plan amendment and the rezoning. There was no extended discussion on either item during the meeting.
The approvals adopt the requested future land-use designation (RES-6) and the TR-3 zoning with the BDP as presented in the applications.
