The Finance Committee approved a resolution appointing Kristen McGuillen to serve as director of Real Property Tax Services for the remainder of an unexpired term (Sept. 27'Sept. 30, 2025) and then for a new six-year statutory term beginning Oct. 1, 2025. The committee amended the resolution to include McGuillen's name and the salary identified in the pay chart: grade 15, step 10, $91,244.

Supervisor Merlino described McGuillen as the current deputy in the Real Property office and said she is "phenomenally qualified" and has all required certifications except one that she has two years to complete; he said the state has already approved her qualifications. Committee members agreed the appointment should reflect the nominee's name and the specific salary before moving the resolution to the full board.

The motion to amend and approve the appointment was made and seconded; committee members voted by voice and the motion carried.
