The Township High School District 211 Board of Education approved several personnel and records actions during the meeting. The board voted to release closed session minutes from 12/12/2024, 01/23/2025, 02/20/2025, 03/20/2025 and 05/15/2025 and place them on file.

The board accepted retirement requests as specified on the agenda: Michael Hernan, effective December 2029; Jennifer Marshall, effective May 2029; James Carlson, effective December 2025; Diane Dapka, effective June 2027; Jennifer Beers, effective June 2029; and Fred Rasmussen, effective June 2029. The retirements were accepted consistent with the district’s master contract provisions for teachers, support staff and the administrator compensation and benefit package as listed in the agenda.

The board also approved an administrative appointment: Katherine Saul was appointed assistant principal at Palatine High School effective July 21, 2025, at an annual gross salary of $135,000 prorated to her start date.

The release of closed session minutes, the acceptances of retirements and the appointment all passed on roll call with all present board members voting Aye on the record.
