The Bristol Tennessee Board of Education adopted its consent agenda at the Aug. 18 meeting, voting to approve minutes from the July 21 regular meeting and the July 30 called meeting, and to accept listed surplus and obsolete items from Tennessee High (Technology) and Tennessee Middle School. Charlie Taylor made the motion to adopt the consent items and Debbie Darnell seconded; votes from Jennifer Henson, Jim Butcher, Debbie Darnell, Charlie Taylor and Eric Cuddy carried the motion.
The consent packet included Board Approval Listings (checks/electronic remittances paid in June 2025) for the General Purpose, Federal Projects, School Nutrition, and Capital Projects Funds, and General Purpose School Fund Budget Journals #14-16 for June 2025. The minutes note that June 2025 reports, including financial statements, are anticipated to be reported at the Sept. 2025 Board meeting following the close of FY 2024–2025 financial records.
