Council accepts recorded grant easement between 12th and 13th streets; staff to record corrected description

The Imperial City Council accepted a grant easement for APN 631-210-0603 covering property between 12th and 13th streets and voted 3-0 to approve staff's recommended document for recording. Presenter Mr. Mora said the originally recorded document contained a reservation in the legal description but did not clearly describe the easement area or the waterline that currently occupies the site. With the assistance of the city's licensed surveyor, David Dale, staff prepared a corrected document that identifies and describes the waterline and easement area. "The owners are prepared to convey the easement," Mr. Mora said, and staff recommended approval. Council approved the document and instructed staff to record it. No public debate or requests to continue the item were made during the meeting.
