County planning staff informed the commission that Fennywood Solar has submitted a special‑exception application for a large solar project near the county line.

Staff said the parcel totals about 997 acres, of which the developer plans to use roughly 497 acres for solar infrastructure; the project will appear before the commission in December and is in Election District 7. Staff said the applicant submitted the special‑exception application late for an earlier meeting and that details and review materials are forthcoming.
