The Newark City Council voted unanimously to adopt Ordinance 25-17 to change the zoning classification for property identified as 170 O'Bannon Avenue from LC (Limited Commercial) to LI (Limited Industrial).

Council President opened and closed the public hearing with no members of the public speaking. Councilman Rapp noted the planning commission had recommended approval and said he would support the measure. "This has been approved or recommended by the planning commission, and, for that reason, I'll be supporting and helping everybody else too as well," Rapp said.

The motion to adopt was made by Councilman Rapp and seconded; clerk called the roll and the ordinance passed 9-0. The ordinance listed two parcel tax ID numbers and the city’s zoning code sections being amended to implement the reclassification.
