A staff presenter told the committee the money will serve as the city's construction matches for South Eleventh Street widening and for the West Main Street widening in front of Vista Apartments. The presenter said actual local deposits total "about 300,000" remaining on deposit at the county, describing that figure as "a little less than what I was hoping for."
Council Member Barker moved the request and Council Member Coss seconded; the committee advanced the item to full council on unanimous consent.
