County, Kentucky Fish and Wildlife and volunteers clean Great Crossing creek bank

County leaders reported that the road department and about 20 county staff joined roughly the same number of Kentucky Fish and Wildlife personnel and volunteers to clean the creek bank from Cainwood down to Great Crossing Park.

Judge Masters said the county would check in after the cleanup and praised the partnership; he described the effort as positive community collaboration involving boats and multiple crews working despite weather conditions. No formal action or spending decision was recorded — the activity was described as a volunteer/agency partnership and on-the-ground cleanup work by staff and volunteers.
