The Lapeer County Board of Commissioners authorized the Friend of the Court to replace two copiers and enter into a lease agreement with Everbain Image Tech during its Aug. 14 meeting.

The Friend of the Court representative told commissioners the proposed lease would yield savings of approximately $8 per month compared with the current vendor and that the county IT director had recommended the vendor; other departments have already entered similar agreements.

The board moved and approved the request without further amendment. Commissioners confirmed copies of the lease information were available on each floor of the courthouse for review.
