Euclid Board of Control approves $45,920 van purchase for wastewater department

The Euclid Board of Control on Aug. 11 approved a $45,920 purchase from Lancaster Acquisitions for a 2025 Chevy Express 2500 Tradesman's van to be used by the city's wastewater treatment department.

Board members said the vehicle will be paid from the Wastewater Treatment Fund; the board approved the requisition by voice vote after no questions were raised during the meeting.

The requisition was presented during the board's routine approvals of requisitions. No motions, seconds, or recorded roll-call tallies were specified in the meeting transcript; the clerk read the requisition, a motion and second were taken, and members responded "Aye."
