Euclid CIC to accept title to 115 E. 206th St. for infill housing under Open Door Euclid

The Community Improvement Corporation voted Aug. 11 to accept title to property at 115 East 206th Street (permanent parcel number 642-02-155) from the City of Euclid land-reutilization program with the intent to support new infill home construction under the Open Door Euclid program.

CIC staff described the lot as approximately 0.11 acre (11 hundredths of an acre) with an existing garage and driveway; the previous house on the site was demolished after a fire. Staff said the cleared garage is ready for redevelopment and that the lot’s 80-foot frontage and narrow 61-foot depth create a distinctive build opportunity.

The board packet and staff remarks said the property will be marketed to developers for sensitive infill housing and that the parcel is a likely candidate for Open Door Euclid support to promote homeownership and neighborhood stability. The motion to accept the parcel into CIC ownership passed by voice vote.
