The Committee on Community Development of Buffalo City on Oct. 21 voted to table consideration of a proposed citywide homestead plan and scheduled a public hearing for Nov. 5, 2025.

The committee moved to table the item “pending a hearing on Nov. 5.” The motion was seconded by Council member Nowakowski. No roll-call vote tally was recorded in the meeting transcript.

Committee members present during the item included Chairman Glombek and council members Lehi, Bowman, Halt, Pope and Rivera. The item was placed on hold pending the public hearing, at which members of the public and staff are expected to discuss the plan in detail.

The committee did not adopt or amend the homestead plan at the Oct. 21 meeting. The record indicates the next formal discussion will occur at the public hearing scheduled for Nov. 5, 2025.
