The Board of Public Works and Safety approved a vendor agreement with Serviscape to wrap and decorate trees and install high-elevation holiday decorations in the downtown park.

Jan (staff) told the board Serviscape’s work includes wrapping trees and installing “the really high stuff.” The contract amount is almost $20,000, Jan said, and approximately $12,000 will come from the city’s general fund budget with the remainder paid from community donations.

The board approved the agreement by motion and voice vote with no recorded opposition. The contract will fund the city’s annual downtown holiday display operations; staff did not present a detailed line-item breakdown or a vendor contract number at the meeting.

Board members thanked Jan for the presentation; no public comment was offered on the item during the meeting.
