The Code Enforcement Board on Sept. 15 reduced a previously imposed $4,500 fine against Edward Emrick III (case C25060012) to $500, to be paid by Oct. 1, 2025; failure to pay will cause the fine to revert to $4,500. City staff said the property came into compliance on July 2 after nine days in violation. The board adopted the staff recommendation based on the evidence and previous interactions regarding similar violations at the address. A representative for the property accepted the staff recommendation during the hearing. The board voted to reduce the fine and set the payment deadline; an order will be mailed to the respondent.
