Commission receives lieutenant and sergeant promotional processes and places them on file

Commissioners at the Green Bay Police and Fire Commission special meeting on Sept. 17 received the lieutenant and sergeant promotional processes as informational items and voted to place the materials on file.

Commission staff said the promotional processes were unchanged from earlier versions and were provided for review and an update. The commission moved to receive the promotional materials and place them on file; the motion was seconded and approved by voice vote with no recorded opposition.

Commissioners did not take further public action on the promotional processes at the meeting. Staff present included Jan and professional standards personnel, who were listed as contacts for questions during the review; no changes to the procedures were announced.
