The Champaign County Board on Sept. 18 adopted Resolution 2025-260 honoring county employees who reached service milestones in September 2025. The resolution recognized employees with 5, 10, 15, 20 and 40 years of service.

The board read a list of honorees, which included Alexander James (Sheriff's Office) for five years; Duran Bridal (Sheriff's Office) and Andrew Griffith (Probation and Court Services) for 10 years; James Oliver (Physical Plant) for 15 years; Laurie Hanson (Circuit Court) for 20 years; and Theresa (Teresa) Zeb (Probation and Court Services) for 40 years. Speakers at the meeting praised the honorees’ dedication and, in particular, highlighted Theresa Zeb’s 40‑year tenure.

The resolution passed by voice vote and the board thanked the employees for their service.
