The Pinetop Lakeside Town Council unanimously approved Resolution 25-1787 designating the town finance director to file the annual expenditure limitation report (AELR) for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2025, with the Arizona Auditor General.
Christie (town staff) told the council that an earlier administrative error had listed the wrong fiscal year in a prior communication and that the auditor general’s office said the town still had time to submit the fiscal year–ending 06/30/2025 AELR if the council designated an appropriate chief fiscal officer to upload the report. The prior designee, Kevin, was not present; town staff asked the council to designate Finance Director Gabe Buldra (name spelled and pronounced in the meeting) to complete the filing.
A council member moved to approve the resolution; another council member seconded. The mayor called for a voice vote and the motion carried unanimously.
Councilors did not discuss additional changes to the town’s finance staffing during that item. Staff said the AELR will be uploaded to the Arizona Auditor General’s portal for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2025.
