During its Sept. 22 meeting the Oldsmar Veterans Advisory Board approved the minutes of the July 28 meeting, voted to excuse Board Member Brill’s absence from that meeting and reselected the current chair and vice chair for 2026.

The board approved the July 28 minutes after a motion and second; members voted in the affirmative. The board then considered excusing Board Member Brill’s absence from the July 28 meeting; a motion to excuse the absence carried. The chair said Brill had been traveling.

Later in the meeting members reviewed and approved the board’s proposed 2026 meeting dates: Jan. 26, April 27, July 27 and Sept. 28, 2026. The board then nominated and voted to keep the current chair and vice chair in place for 2026. The motion to retain the leadership slate passed with an affirmative vote and the chair announced the tally as 4 to 1 in favor.

No substantive policy decisions accompanied these administrative actions. The meeting adjourned at approximately 4:51 p.m.
