Commission approves minutes, tax exoneration, probate settlements and invoices

The Hampshire County Commission approved several routine orders and financial items on the Sept. 23 agenda. By voice vote the commission approved the minutes from the prior meeting, a tax exoneration as submitted by the assessor, affidavits and waivers and requests to close estates (probate settlement list), fiduciary appointments and qualifications, and the invoices submitted since the last meeting. Why it matters: these routine approvals allow county operations, probate closures and vendor payments to proceed under the commission’s standard procedures. All items were approved by voice vote with an aye recorded and no substantive debate recorded on these consent items at the Sept. 23 meeting.
