Nicholas Halodakis, director of communications for Waukegan Public Schools, said tickets are on sale for the Waukegan Association of Music Partners’ annual Pasta and Pops dinner, set for Wednesday, Oct. 1, at the Waukegan High School Brookside Campus. "Tickets are $20 and all proceeds go toward music equipment, student trips, college scholarships for Waukegan High School music students," Halodakis said.
The event will feature performances by the district’s high school orchestras, choirs and bands and will offer two seating options at 5:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. The announcement noted that tickets must be purchased online in advance; no ticket-sale deadline or expected attendance number was specified on the recording.
