The City of Deafell Finance Committee moved into closed session at the end of its Sept. 29 meeting to receive advice from legal counsel about strategy related to a pending or likely employee claim under state law.

The committee specifically cited Wisconsin Statute 19.85(1)(g) as the basis for closing the meeting to the public. A motion to go into closed session was made by Lebanholz and seconded by another alderperson; the roll-call vote recorded ayes from alderpersons present and the motion carried.
