Madison County supervisors, meeting in executive session Tuesday, voted unanimously to approve a resolution authorizing a fee-in-lieu of ad valorem taxes agreement for a proposed electrical power generation facility to be built by Entergy Mississippi LLC in the county.

Clerk (filling in for Lott) reported from executive session that the board "voted unanimously to approve a resolution of the Board of Supervisors of Madison County, Mississippi granting a fee in lieu of ad valorem taxes and approving and authorizing the execution of a fee in lieu of ad valorem tax agreement pursuant to Mississippi code sections 27 31 27 dash 31 dash 1 0 4 and 27 dash 31 1 0 5, parenthetical 2, for a new electrical power generation facility to be constructed, developed, and operated in the county by Entergy Mississippi LLC and related matters."
