The item is located on the south side of Coursey Boulevard west of Scarlet Oak Boulevard in Council District 8 (Amarosa). The council recorded a motion by Councilwoman Coleman, seconded by Councilman Hudson, and the motion carried 7-0. No members of the public spoke on the item.
Case 32-254866 (Government Street) rezoned property from Light Commercial to Commercial Alcoholic Beverage Bar and Lounge (CAB-2). The property is on the south side of Government Street west of Bienville Street in Council District 7. The council recorded a motion by Councilwoman Harris, seconded by Councilwoman Mook; the motion carried 7-0. There were no public speakers.
Case 33-256800 (Burbank Drive) rezoned property from rural to Medium Density Multifamily Residential and apportioned to Heavy Commercial 2. The property is on the south side of Burbank Drive west of Kenilworth Parkway in Council District 12. Beau James Booty of Centerline Engineering appeared for the developer and said he was available to answer questions. The council recorded a motion by Councilwoman Rocca, seconded by Councilwoman Harris; the motion carried 7-0.
RV-625 (AJ Hayes White Tract) is a request to revoke a 40-foot public drainage servitude located on the south side of Moss Bridal Lane east of Peggy Street in Council District 7. The staff report stated no Planning Commission hearing was required “per UDC section 3.6.0.3.” The council recorded a motion by Councilwoman Harris, seconded by Councilman Kenny; the motion carried 7-0.
All items were moved and seconded as noted; the council stated “motion carries” for each and recorded no opposition. The meeting then continued to other business.
